The Gamer in me

I finally broke down and spent the money buy RockBand. Why did I wait this long!? Rockband is a very addicting game. I still spend a lot of time on the guitar sense I've played through every Guitar hero game made so far. Including the not so great 80's version. I'm on the expert difficulty setting in the video game world and on the medium difficulty in the real world. (I play guitar in real life too.) I've started to play around with the drums in rockband but still find myself struggling with eh bass pedal. It's hard!

Anyway on a side note, I'm displeased with how Sony stopped making the 80gb PS3 and is only now sticking with the 40gb. Bummer. Now you have to buy an adapter to play with all the instruments at once. The 40gb has only two usb ports were the 80gb has four. weak...

Also today is my last day of classes for this semester. I very excited to finish all the work I've been slaving over for the last couple weeks. although I still have a lot of work to get down over the break for my portfolio. I'm actually typing this before my second class starts. lol. Well, time to go. later.

A light at the end of the tunnel

The website is finished for now and loading correctly. Please feel free to check it out. I will link to it in the links section so you can get there pretty quickly. I'm pretty happy with it and can't wait to get some feed back. The portfolio section is pretty neat with a small flash game you are able to play if you want. I will be pumping out a few more of these in the near future.

Well, even though I'm finished with the site, I still don't get to rest. I move onto my next endeavor of continuing my work with THE DARK DAYS SERIES. I'm about to finish another semester of school (with all A's WOOT) and that leaves me with a lot of free time on my hands for next week. What to do...

So whatever will you do Stephen??

Thanks for asking my readers. I will jump back into The Mini Project I have already started. I'm designing a set of new custom paint jobs for Mini Coopers and a few ads/posters. I am in no way working with the Mini Cooper company but I am a fan of the cars. I would like to start posting my work on The Mini Project by the beginning of April. Keep checking in.

The First of Many.

So I've decided to begin a blog. This of course is linked to my main web page but allows me to better talk about design for anyone interested. I guess I'll start out talking about myself a little to let you into my world. I 'm currently attending The Art Institute of Ohio-Cincinnati Studying Interactive Media Design. I basically design Web pages, video Games, advertisments, cell phone programs, kiosks, anything you can interact with. I spend a lot of time designing flash games and animations. It's pretty fun to be able to play a game that you created.

I get a lot of my inspiration from Frank Lloyd Wright. I know, I know, he's an architect, but he still greatly influences my work. The way he mixes the two worlds of nature and modern design together really makes people think. I like to make poeple open thier minds once in awhile. Most people loose thier imagination when they grow up only to live everyday just like the one before it and never try anything new. If I can open someones mind just for a second to see something and try to understand something new then I feel that ive done my job. We must continue to use our imagination long into old age.

I live my life by a simple quote I came across that made me smile and really made me think about what I wanted to do with my life.

"It's fun doing the impossible."
-Walt Disney

NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE if we can put our minds to it. That is why we must hold onto imagination.
